I'll try and follow along tonight. I would love to help out as a guest tweeter - I have B. Sc in Kinesiology and a certificate in Athletic Therapy, so fitness is kind of my thing. Let me know if you'd ever like me to help out in some way.

I am going to try to get to this one! Right up my alley! I am a AFAA certified group fitness instructor so I spend a lot of time at the gym teaching and taking classes! Always looking to hear about something new to try!

Fitness gno should be great! As usual I'll be checking in around soccer, lol! Of course if I was the one playing soccer I might not need to learn more about fitness, but unfortunately I'm just a spectator.

I've been saying I want to get in shape forever now, Tomorrow is a daily vocab word. I started playing the Wii and yes, I do hurt after wards. To me this means that I'm now using parts that don't want to be bothered. My question to our guest speakers is, "How do you motivate yourself to start exercising" also If I walk up and down the stairs in my house 20x's- does that count?

I'm really looking forward to tonight's GNO. I truly need some help getting my rear in gear to get into shape. My question for tonight's guests is "Is it better to walk at a steady pace or do like the book Body for Life suggests a pattern of increasing your pace for a few minutes then slowing down?" Does this make sense?

I'm a GNO regular who always forgets to sign up. Won't be participating tonight, but wanted to offer up my advice to everyone that is looking to lose weight and get in shape.

1.Lean proteins
2.Lots of H20
3.Herbal tea
4.Get your heart up to your target rate several times per day
5.Mix Isometric / strength training in with the cardio.
6.VEGGIES-Especially celery
7.Play co-ed sports with your sweetie

That's all I can think of, I'm not an expert-but I have had 4 kids and I am in good shape, I can run 10 miles without dieing and I play soccer.

Have fun tonight!!

I will be there... actually it is in a few minutes. I joined the twittgroup last week.

I started taking Karate and Aikido, along with floor stretches, a couple miles on my orbitrek for 3 times a day. I have been watching what I have been eating and putting in more nutritional things.

I am eager to see what other things are discussed at gno.
